Lets Talk about the Booking Process
The booking process is fairly simple and can be done with 3 steps:
Step 1. Contact us: Provide us with details about your job i.e. access, size of stump if you can measure the diameter, how many stumps, type of tree and any other relevant information a photo always helps us out.
Step 2. After contact we will either provide you with an online quote or request to inspect (we may even be able to grind that stump on the same day as inspection).
Step 3. Confirm availability and BAM! We will get grinding for you.
Commonly asked Questions
Will the tree re-grow?
Usually any stump that Stump and Grind remove is completely ground away and will not re-grow. There are one or two exceptions, that may send up the odd shoot from a piece of root. Root chasing can help avoid this from happening.
How much does stump grinding cost?
Costs are based upon the size and number of stumps to be removed. When asking for a quotation it would be useful to have some idea of the number of stumps and a rough idea of the diameter and available access. This information will enable our professional stump specialist to provide you with an on the phone quote.
Do I need to be at home?
Ultimate Stump Grinding holds a high reputation that customers are happy for us to carry out the work in their absence, knowing that the work will be done efficiently with the minimum amount of ground disturbance and the area being left tidy. We will take before and after photos for your satisfaction.
Can I hire a Stump Grinding for a DIY?
Yes, A small, lightweight rented grinder means more time and physical effort for you, and your stump may be too large for a rental grinder to handle. And, as anyone who has rented machinery knows, there’s no guarantee that the equipment is in good working order, or even safe to operate. A skilled operator is always the safest most efficient way to go for a guaranteed job.
